Natural silk scarf that has been hand dyed with plant material.
This scarf is a unique product, original and timeless which you can wear daily or at special occasions, very light and airy, a special gift for you. Guaranteed one of a kind, as i couldn't recreate it if i tried :)

Naturally dyeing silk with plant matter requires more time and patience than using synthetic silk dye. It takes 12 hours just to clean and prep the silk to take natural dye, then at least 2 hours in a dye vat per colour while playing around with resist binding in between colours. It's always worth the time when experiencing the thrill of unveiling the final result!

A silk scarf is perfect to wear any time during the year. As a natural fibers, both silk and silk/wool blend keep you cool in the summer and warm in the cooler months. A silk scarf makes a luxurious gift for someone you love or a much-deserved treat for yourself!

Colour might not be exactly what you see on your device. The colour balance of each device monitor is different and my photography skills are terrible.

Gently hand wash using cold water and mild, ph neutral soap if necessary. Do not soak. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron with silk (low) setting.
