Body Butter

A rich, decadent moisturizer infused with soothing organic herbs. Handmade with natural ingredients that are both amazing for your skin & safe for handling companion birds.

Why is that important?
Stepping up, holding, scratching, beaking, playing... Our birds interact with our bands & body all day. Whatever is on your skin ends up on their feet, feathers & in their beaks -  which they inevitably ingest.
Standard lotions have petroleum, synthetic emollients, unnecessary colourants & toxic synthetic fragrances, don't fit the bird-friendly bill!
Simply being natural isn't enough. Oils like avocado, cherry, apricot kernel, castor & cocoa butter are all standards in natural products, but toxic to parrots.

FeatherWhipped to the rescue! I've created a recipe that's soooooo yummy for your skin.
Made with raw golden shea butter & fast absorbing oils that are high in vitamins & anti-inflammatories. Promoting skin regeneration & full of antioxidants. Infused with organic herbs (much of which i grow in my organic garden!). I have chosen herbs that protect then skin, are astringents, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory & soothing.

This is a pure butter, not a whipped lotion with water - that way we can avoid questionable preservatives.

Fragrance-free, though i can add some essential oil in an 8oz jar on request.

Shea butter, organic grapeseed oil, perilla seed oil, organic coconut oil infused with organic chamomile, marshmallow, rose petals, rosehips, lavender buds, oatstraw, calendula, plantain; kokum butter, jojoba oil, organic tapioca starch, Vitamin E, rosemary extract

A little goes a long way!
Make sure your fingers are clean & dry when you dip into your body butter pot (as this is a preservative-free product).

If you have any adverse / allergic reactions, stop using product immediately. I've never known it to happen, but it's said to cover my FeatherWhipped booty ;)
