A rich, decadent moisturizer infused with soothing organic herbs. Handmade with natural ingredients that are both amazing for your skin & safe for your bids.
Why is that important?
Stepping up, holding, scratching, beaking, playing... Our birds interact with our bands & body all day. Whatever is on your skin ends up in their feathers & in their beaks, which they, inevitably, ingest. Standard lotions have petroleums, synthetic emollients, unnecessary colourants & toxic synthetic fragrances, don't fit the bird-friendly bill!
Simply being natural isn't enough. Oils like avocado, cherry, apricot kernel, castor oils & cocoa butter are all standards in natural products, but toxic to our fids.

Let's look at some of the ingredients:
Shea Butter- I only use Organic Grade A 100% Pure Unrefined, raw Shea butter. The highest quality on the market, this is food grade Shea butter that is high in vitamins A, E, F and K. Fights inflammation, triterpenes protect collagen & has a natural SPF.
Kokum Butter - High in essential fatty acids & promotes skin regeneration. Excellent vitamin E content for anti-oxidant effects.
Perilla Seed Oil - rich in omega-3, it soothes, repairs & provides powerful antioxidant & anti-inflammatory protection. Rosmarinic acid in perilla seed oil aids in calming atopic dermatitis & helps reduce clogged pores.
Jojoba Oil - A humectant with anti-bacterial properties; it's antioxidant content fights skin aging & decrease inflammation.
Marshmallow - It's magical mucilage creates a protective layer
Calendula - antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory& astringent that promotes cell regeneration
Oatstraw - Soothing & eases itchiness.
Chamomile - An anti-inflammatory that sooths irritation & encourages skin repair.
Rose petals & Rose hips - A humectant & toner that reduces the appearance of fine lines; vitamin C repairs oxidative damage.
Lavender - relieves tension, anti-fungal properties, gentle antiseptic.
This is a pure butter, not a whipped lotion with water - that way we can avoid questionable preservatives. Please make sure your fingers are dry & clean when dipping in!
Fragrance-free, though i can add some essential oil in an 8oz jar on request. Message me!
