These earrings are made specifically to fund raise for the Magnolia Exotic Bird Sanctuary
https://magnoliaexoticbirdsanctuary.org/

Feathers for these earrings are naturally molted by the rescue parrots at the sanctuary. (I thoroughly sanitize the feathers as per veterinarian instruction).
One of a kind.

Made with parrot safe* food grade stainless steel wire & raw quarts stone.  Free from heavy metals & potential toxins for birds; hypoallergenic for the humans.

My stainless steel wire is manufactured in Canada.
90% of the profit will go to the bird sanctuary - basically, i just cover my costs & donate 100% of my time ;)

Pretty, Eco friendly packaging!
Your order is packaged in a recyclable paper bag and shipped in a crush-proof box.
Is this a gift? You can add the Gift wrapping selection at checkout for extra pretty packaging in a jewelry box & your custom note.

If you are a parrot owner: * Parrot safe does not mean parrot-proof: strong beaks can still damage FeatherWhipped handmade jewelry - they just won't get heavy metal toxicity while doing it. The same potential injury & choking hazard applies as it would with any jewelry. This is not a parrot toy :)

Did you know?
Companion parrots often die from heavy metal toxicity due to playing with jewelry. (keys & makeup brushes, too!). It's known that jewelry components can be high enough in lead & cadmium to be toxic to children, but in my research I discovered that even high quality jewelry components contain zinc, copper, lead & tin - all of which are toxic to parrots. Most jewelry components are brought in from China with no MSDS sheets to check what is in the material. Even with 304 and 316 stainless steel parts!
I spent an entire year sourcing out 304 stainless steel and food grade aluminum made in north america with MSDS sheets to confirm they are free from dangerous heavy metals to protect our flocks :)
